Operation Understanding's 25th Anniversary Celebration
and Annual Distinguished Leadership Awards Ceremony
On October 5th, 2010 the Operation Understanding community will gather to celebrate 25 years of creating tomorrow’s leaders and building bridges throughout Philadelphia’s many diverse communities.
This year we are proud to honor Jerry Johnson and Governor Edward G. Rendell with the annual Distinguished Leader Award given to those community leaders that embody the spirit of Operation Understanding's mission of cross-cultural understanding, service and leadership.
This will be a special celebration looking back at 25 years of ground-breaking history in the field of cross-cultural engagement. We hope you'll join us!
